With so much going on in the world and our daily lives I hope you are managing to choose happiness on a daily basis! If we see happiness as a journey and not a destination it is easier to find it hidden in those moments of each and every day!
This month we are focusing on cleansing!
Hopefully this will serve as a reminder of the importance of keeping your skin clean. We cleanse at night to remove make-up, impurities, dead skin cells, and excess oil and in the morning, cleansing is beneficial, as it removes any toxins the skin eliminates during the night and refreshes the skin, preparing it for make-up application.

Product Development
A New GEL BASED CLEANSER FOR COMBINATION SKINS
At Elixir we have always tried to educate clients to using a milk-based balancing cleanser on a combination skin and to avoid cleanses that contain a high percentage of surfactant. We managed to convert many from foaming to milky cleansers but for those not yet converted we have finally heard your plea for a GEL based cleanser. We have formulated one concentrating on using essentials oils that will assist with the process of balancing oils skins:
- Bergamot – a great anti septic and skin healing tonic especially beneficial to oily skin
- Cypress – exerts a balancing action over fluids especially beneficial to sweaty and oily skin
- Geranium – the great sebum balancer and skin de –congester.
If you are one of those who likes a gel based cleanser (only oily skins) – you can order a 25ml FREE gel based cleanser to trial – as long as you give us feedback once you have used it. Ask Vanessa for details when you next order.
MORE ON THE LUMINESCENCE OIL
We never stop receiving great feedback on our new anti-ageing oil!
Many clients have reported dramatic improvements in their pigmentation. We would now like to find some willing candidates to take part in a series of photos (before, during and after) whilst using this oil so that we can show others just how well it works.
